What Coaching Offers You
Explore How Coaching Supports Your Wellbeing Journey
Warm, collaborative coaching that fits your unique needs.

Who is coaching for?
Coaching may be for you if you know that something in your health, wellbeing or everyday life needs to change, but you feel stuck, overwhelmed or simply unsure where to begin.
Perhaps you know what you would like to do, but struggle to turn your intentions into action. You may have started making changes before, only to find yourself returning to old habits. Or perhaps life has become so busy that looking after yourself has gradually moved to the bottom of the list.
You might want support with:
- improving your overall health and wellbeing
- managing everyday stress and finding more balance
- developing healthier habits and routines
- becoming more physically active
- improving your sleep and self-care routines
- finding or rebuilding motivation
- making time for yourself and your health
- setting realistic goals and following through with them
- understanding what keeps getting in the way of change
- maintaining changes rather than repeatedly starting again
You don't need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Sometimes figuring out what you really want to change is the first part of coaching.

How can coaching help?
Knowing what we should do and actually doing it are two very different things.
Health & Wellbeing Coaching gives you dedicated time and space to think about what matters to you, what you would like to be different and what may be preventing you from moving forward.
Through conversation, reflection and carefully chosen questions, coaching can help you:
- gain greater clarity about what you want
- understand your motivation and priorities
- recognise barriers and patterns that may be holding you back
- identify your strengths and resources
- explore different possibilities and solutions
- turn larger goals into realistic, manageable steps
- build confidence in your ability to make changes
- develop changes that fit your real life rather than trying to follow somebody else's perfect plan
The aim isn't perfection. It is finding changes that are meaningful, realistic and sustainable for you.

What happens during coaching?
Coaching is a conversation, but it is different from an everyday conversation.
During your session, the focus is entirely on you — your situation, your priorities and what you would like to achieve.
I will listen, ask questions, help you explore different perspectives and support you in identifying your own possible solutions and next steps.
You remain in control of what we discuss and what actions, if any, you decide to take.
Some people come to coaching with a very specific goal. Others simply know that something isn't working and want space to understand what needs to change.
Both are perfectly good places to start.
Coaching can involve a single focused session or a series of sessions over several weeks or months. When we work together over several sessions, we can also explore what happened between meetings, what worked, what didn't, and what you learned from trying something differently.

What coaching is – and isn't
One of the central principles of coaching is that you are the expert in your own life.
My role isn't to tell you what you should do or make decisions for you. Instead, I help you explore your situation, understand what matters to you and discover approaches that could work for you.
Coaching is collaborative. We work together, rather than me prescribing a solution.
Health & Wellbeing Coaching is not psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment or a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
There may be situations where another type of professional support is more appropriate. If something arises that falls outside the scope of coaching, we can discuss this openly and consider whether support from an appropriate healthcare or other professional may be beneficial.

Confidentiality
What you share during coaching is treated as confidential.
Any notes or records relating to our sessions will be kept securely and, where appropriate for my professional coaching portfolio, information will be anonymised.
There are limited circumstances in which confidentiality may need to be broken, for example, where there is a serious concern about your safety or the safety of another person, a safeguarding concern, or where disclosure is required by law.
We will discuss confidentiality, boundaries and how we will work together before coaching begins, so you have an opportunity to ask any questions.
